The bike that has come out on top of this extensive testing, with a score of 91, is the Gepida Ruga Pro Tour. It's our top-of-the-line commuter e-bike and it's also quite capable in an offroad environment.
It features the Bosch Performance Speed System. This system features 85N of torque - equivalent to torque available on premium, Bosch-powered mountain bikes, which means it makes light work of even relatively steep hills.
It also assists riders up to 45kph, making it the perfect commuter bike. Experienced e-bike commuters will tell you that having the extra speed makes them feel safer and more capable when having to lane change and keep pace with other traffic on the road.
The Gepida Ruga Tour Pro turns the daily commute into a joy. In urban centres where traffic jams are common, it will usually be faster door-to-door on a regular commute than travelling by car at peak times.
